UNIVERSAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Mission of the Company by identifying and accomplishing team and individual performance goals that directly support the goals of the Company.

GENERAL SUMMARY
The Environmental Health & Safety Manager is responsible for implementing policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Inspect facilities to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
· Develop and implement inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections.
· Develop health and safety procedures for all areas of the company.
· Prepare and schedule company-wide trainings to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.
· Monitor compliance with safety procedures.
· Draft inspection reports to document inspection findings.
· Ensure that Material Safety Data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.
· Maintain records of Environmental, Health and Safety data and records as required.
· Work in collaboration with and oversee the EHS and Safety Committees.
· Work with outside agencies and companies as needed.
· Investigate and complete sustainability and safety reports and requirements for customers and agencies.
· Manage and develop direct reports in the EHS department.
· Provide presentations to internal and external groups on safety and environmental issues and policies.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s degree in in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field.
· 5 years of Environmental Health and Safety experience.
· 3 years of previous managerial experience in Environmental Health and Safety.
· OSHA 30 certification.
· Additional OSHA certifications preferred.
KNOWLEDGE
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to think strategically and translate to a tactical level required.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a highly time-sensitive environment, meeting deadlines and achieving milestones.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, Excel, Power Point, and Teams.
- Detailed planning and project management.
- Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
- Extensive knowledge of Safety Policies and OSHA Regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
ABILITIES & SKILLS
- Ability to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections.
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment when necessary.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Reasoning – Interpret instructions both oral and written, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Mathematical – Arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.
- Language Development – Excellent verbal / written communication skills; evaluate technical data; have increased contact with people.
- Professional – Ability to use judgment to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
- Physical Effort – Medium work: exert up to (10) pounds of force constantly, (20) pounds of force frequently and (50) pounds of force occasionally to lift or move objects
- Vision – Far, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, color identification and field of vision.
- Activity –Regularly stand; use finger dexterity; reach with hands and arms to lift, push and pull objects; engage in repetitive motions and grasp; occasionally talk, hear, climb, kneel and or crouch.
