Quality Control & Assurance - Customer Satisfaction
Food Safety is paramount at The Suter Company and is the Foundation of all other processes within our company. The U.S. D.A. has an office on-site with inspection occurring each day of operation. The
Suter Company has maintained an exceptional working relationship with
the U.S.D.A. since it first started regulating poultry processing
in 1956.
All food processing activities are covered by our comprehensive H.A.C.C.P.
program, which has been audited by the U.S.D.A., the F.D.A., and many
of our customers. In addition to federal inspection, we routinely
contract a nationally recognized, independent audit firm to perform
a complete review of our facilities, processing procedures, quality
control systems, and record keeping systems. We welcome visits by
our customers and potential customers to observe our food safety and
quality assurance programs first hand.
The Suter Quality Control Team continuously examines our production
processes and carefully monitors, documents and retains all appropriate
paperwork to support our H.A.C.C.P, S.S.O.P., and other quality assurance
programs. All employees are trained in food safety and Good Manufacturing
Practices upon employment, and receive regular follow up training
on important GMP and Food Safety Issues.
Our Quality Team verifies the effectiveness of our sanitation, pre-op,
and operational food safety procedures by using our on-site microbiology
lab to test equipment, raw materials, finished products and the plant
environment.
Product
quality and consistency are also a top priority for The Suter Company.
Every department has a set of Standard Operating Procedures that provide consistent products and services for our customers. We are committed to shipping only the safest, finest tasting, most consistent food products to our customers. Finally, to achieve our goal of Total Customer Satisfaction, we pride ourselves on making continuous improvements to the systems used to monitor, produce and deliver safe and high quality products. |
