The
Suter headquarters and production facilities are located in Sycamore,
IL (60 miles west of Chicago).
Our
primary processing facility is U.S.D.A and F.D.A inspected and our capabilities include the production
of both canned and refrigerated food products. We have
been in the canning business since 1950 and have been producing refrigerated
products since 1983. Key production areas at the main plant include;
our unique Deviled Egg / Modified Atmosphere Packaging line, our high-speed 3oz canning
line, and our state-of-the-art, stainless steel refrigerated production room for salads,
dips & spreads. In addition to the food processing
space, the main plant has dry, refrigerated, and frozen storage space,
a test kitchen for new product development, and houses our sales & marketing,
customer service, quality assurance and executive offices.
In December of 2007 we moved into our new F.D.A. inspected packaging facility where we assemble and package shelf stable food kits for our co-pack partners as well as our own branded products. All production lines are highly automated with over 50 million shelf stable snack and lunch kits produced annually. In addition, we offer contract packaging services to both food and non-food companies.
For more than 80 years, The Suter Company has grown by developing,
manufacturing, and distributing innovative food products throughout
North America. We have diverse manufacturing processes and look forward
